Denali falls under the special
needs category. In February 2005, he was given less than a year to live.
He has pulmonary stenosis, a Grade IV heart murmur, and an enlarged
liver. However, no one has told him this and he continues to live a
happy, asymptomatic life. 15 months after his grim diagnosis, he has
proved that love can still save the day. Every day is a gift and a new
opportunity for him to discover a world where his floppy paws will leave
