Hooch was picked up in Phila by the SPCA in
2003. He was very skinny, abused, and sick. His foster mom (Jean Sturm)
came to his rescue and nursed him back to health and then he came to his
forever home with us. Maggie (his blonde friend) was picked up in Brooklyn, NY with quite a few health issues in Nov. 2004 and was fostered in New York until we adopted her in January 2005. Once Hooch and Maggie decided that Maggie was the boss, they're very close friends and family to us. They've moved into our hearts and home and now our "rescues" are both family and we're very grateful to the DDBS Rescue for their help, not just for our dogues but all of the others who've not been as lucky as ours.
