Luna was from a Topeka Kansas shelter. She was fostered in WI by a DDBS foster and eventually placed in an adoptive home. Luna was severely starved and neglected. She had full blown demodextic mange as well. Her foster family's sons, the McElderrys worked with her every day to rebuild her confidence and trust and nurse her back to health. When she was rescued nails were almost an inch long and she had sores on her feet. She is in a new home now. |
