Marcie

Marcie is a Road Warrior! Marcie was turned into an OH shelter by her neighbors after they were forced to put her kennel mate to sleep due to a misunderstanding. She was picked up by DDBS member Roy Hogan who made the 8 hour round trip drive to get her and immediately taking the 9 hour drive from MI to the DDBS Nationals in Missouri! She then made the 15 hour trip from MO to NY with Pete Kanakis who temp fostered her until he could make the 4 hour trip to PA for her long term foster! Six weeks later Marcie was to be on her way to her new home in MA. Her foster home, Bev Oliver, drove her 1 hour to NJ to meet with Steve and Anna Reich to take her 6 hours to MA! Upon arriving, her new adoptive home decided they did not want her and left abruptly. She was then fostered with Anna and Steve for a week and then drove 3 hours to CT to another temp foster home with Darren and Suzanne Greene. Her travel story ends here, Darren and Suzanne fostered her until she found a new home - she is living the life of luxury in MA with a co-worker of Darrens. She has seen most of the USA by now and is ready to settle in.
