Max and Peconic, both rescues, live with mom Polly Kreisman in NY. Max was adopted 12/7/99, he was picked up in Upstate NY. The mascot of Central Park in NY and the beach at Amagansett, LI, he was living in a home with no attention, had never met another dog, slept all day on a mattress, he was fat and had trouble moving. Today with Polly's love and care, he is a muscular and lithe 125 lbs. Peconic was found running homeless in the Bronx, NY. The local NYC animal shelter, knowing we had Max, called to ask if we were interested. She is now a beautiful, gentle,18 mo female who charms everyone she meets. aka "Connie." |
