We had been looking for a dog for
quite some time. It wasn't something we wanted to rush into. We wanted
to find the right dog who NEEDED a loving home. We went on the DDBS
rescue site and saw "Tonka". It was instant. He looked so sweet and
yet so sad. That was it, we wanted him. We went to Michigan to pick
him up and it was love at first site. He was beautiful and the sweetest
thing I've ever seen. He layed his head on my lap almost the whole way
back to Canada. When we brought him home he fit right in, like he'd
always been here. We are so fortunate to have found him and can't
picture our lives without him. We want to thank George Brown from the
